EPIK DRUMS! 2010
A couple of years ago Woody had a call from an old friend, Ken
Scott, who was the producer of the Bowie albums (amongst many others!).
He told him he was going to do a drum program project for a company
called Sonic Reality. He wanted to re-create the drum sounds from
those early Bowie albums and was Woody up for doing it! Of course
he was and they got together and using an identical kit to the Ludwig
he used in the 70's and Ken using the exact same mics and recording
system etc. they re-created the drum sounds. This wasn't as simple
as it sounds and it's taken a couple of years to put together this
product to the quality level it deserves. 4 other drummers that
Ken had produced were also involved in the project.
Here are the other drummers with Woody and Ken:

Now here's the promotional stuff: you can check out more at www.sonicreality.com.
EpiK DrumS - A Ken Scott Collection is a deluxe 116 gigabyte collection
of multitrack drum kit and groove instruments created with legendary
producer and engineer Ken Scott (The Beatles, Elton John, David
Bowie, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, etc.), and five iconic drummers Bill
Cobham, Terry Bozzio, Woody Woodmansey (Bowie), Bob Siebenberg (Supertramp)
and Rod Morgenstein (Dixie Dregs) as well as bonus percussion and
kits in the style of The Beatles and Elton John.

You can also check out YouTube for excerpts of this program and
it's use.
Masterclass
I've been asked to do some drum masterclasses but haven't been able to schedule them in yet...will let you know when I do.
MOVIE
Got to record all the drum tracks for a forthcoming Stephen Soderbergh
movie, it's going to be a 3D musical! Think there were 22 tracks
in all.
Rusty Anderson (McCartney's band) played guitar, Matt Bissonnette
(Greg's brother) played bass, and Nick Kirgo also on guitar.
It was recorded in Wyn Davis's Total Access studio with Ken Scott
producing it. Hope it makes it to the big screen!!!!
